Teachers Training Program
Education is the basic necessity to any society. According to a poet, the deeper we dig, the more we discover. The role of teacher also involves the character building of the taught apart from designing and implementation of the curriculum. Teachers cause desirable and anticipated revolution in the society silently. In short, a teacher inspires and shapes the destiny of the nation in class rooms. Realizing the above facts, the teaching profession is considered as the noblest profession in India. Swami Vivekananda has rightly said "Practice; do not preach; if you preach then prove by setting examples" So, if we expect good human values and citizenship to be inculcated in our students then firstly our teachers need to practice of the same.
The teachers are to be role models full of energy, motivation, honesty, commitment etc......then only we can expect transforming the society...The Universities or Institutes must pay attention to do something in this direction.
Our training program is especially designed for the teachers of this 21st Century and it is designed by taking 543 teachers personal interview all over India and interacting more than 1,00,000 teachers.
Project plan and Description:
We conduct our classes and workshops on following four laws of learning-
Law 1: Adult are babies with big bodies
---
This principle allows us to acknowledge the fact that adults are babies with big bodies. For example, as children in KG, we colored, drew, played, and modeled with clay etc.- all hands on experience. Children with very little experience learn through experience. When you attend our session as adult or even teenagers, you bring a lot of experience with you. Using your experience and “hands-on” approach helps you to learn much more.
Law 2: People don’t argue with their own data
---
This principle allows us to explore what the students already know about the subject being taught. Participants are involved by asking them to look for ideas, concepts and techniques, which they can use, in real life. This help in retaining the concepts better.
Law 3: Learning is directly proportional to the amount of fun you have
---
Students own energy and involvement is used to make learning fun. Students enjoy learning because they are being taught the technologies, tools and techniques, which will help them in the future.
Law 4: Learning hasn’t taken place until the behavior has changed
---
It’s not what you know but what you do with what you know that counts. That’s why skill practice is important. Participants are provided with ample opportunities to practice and get comfortable with the new styles and latest language being taught. We give success experience to the participants in trying out information and techniques so that they are able to use them when they go back on the job.
